Bettina Bernklau
Bettina Bernklau was born in Freiburg, where she began to study music under Professor Wolfgang Marschner. After high school she continued her training with the famous virtuoso Arthur Grumiaux in Brussels thanks to a German Academic Exchange Service grant.
She was a prizewinner in the German youth music competition “Jugend Musiziert” and at the international Ludwig Spohr violin competition was awarded a “Premier Prix avec grande distinction” and the “Parke Davis Prize”.
Since 1989 Bettina Bernklau has lived in Munich, devotes herself to chamber music and is a member of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
