Lukas Gassner
Trombone
Lukas Gassner was born in Waidhofen/Ybbs (Lower Austria). He started trombone lessons at the age of nine at the Waidhofen Music School.
In 2013, in addition to his apprenticeship as a car technician, he began as student at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz with Prof. Josef Kürner.
After passing his audition, he accepted a position in the Academy of the Bruckner Orchester Linz in September 2015.
He has served as a substitute in various orchestras, including the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.
Lukas Gassner is a member of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks since September 2016.
