Subscribers save up to 35% compared to single tickets.
Subscribers don’t stand in line: they don’t have to worry about buying single tickets and have their reserved seat even at sold-out events.
Subscribers receive a 10% discount on single tickets for BR concerts of their choice with the subscription card.
The tickets include free use of the MVV public transportation system to and from the event.
Subscriptions are transferable.

Subscription conditions

Subscription card
For each subscription, you will receive a personal customer card in check-card format (Abo-Card), which entitles you to a 10% discount on individual tickets for BR concerts (including advance booking and system fees as well as MVV). The number of discounted tickets you can buy per concert with the Abo-Card is not limited.

Standing room tickets, dress rehearsals, benefit concerts and concerts with third-party promoters are excluded from the discount. For technical reasons, the subscription card can only be used at the box office in the Isarphilharmonie, Herkulessaal and Prinzregententheater.

Transferability
Subscribers may transfer their seats for individual concerts to third parties. Since they receive a separate ticket for each subscription concert, the ticket can be passed on individually. If the ticket cannot be passed on personally, we will issue a replacement ticket that can be picked up in the subscription holder’s name. The replacement ticket is issued directly at the respective box office and does not need to be registered in advance.

Public transport
Tickets for a Bayerischer Rundfunk concert include free use of the MVV public transportation system to and from the event. The ticket serves as proof. In the case of print@home tickets, the person ordering must be present.

Written reservation of individual tickets
Subscribers have the option of pre-ordering individual tickets until one month before the ticket presale at the Subscription Office (please indicate customer number). The pre-order is non-binding and will be processed shortly before the presale date in the order of receipt. You will receive an order confirmation or a cancellation before the presale date. A one-time service fee of € 6 will be charged for advance orders.

New orders for subscriptions
Reservations for the following season are accepted throughout the year.

What else you should know about your subscription

Cancellation/Renewal
A subscription is automatically renewed for a further season if it is not cancelled in writing by May 13, 2024. Payment is made after receipt of the invoice by direct debit or bank transfer. If the payment deadline is not met, the subscription is considered released. Subscription tickets will be sent out no later than one week before the first concert of the respective subscription series, but earlier if possible.

Introduction talks
Subscription tickets entitle the holder to attend the concert introductions, if such are offered. Introductions usually begin 75 minutes before the concert starts.

Subscription series or seat change
Please inform us of your change request by May 13, 2024 at the latest.

Programme and cast changes
The Bayerische Rundfunk reserves the right to make changes to the lineup, schedule, programme or seating for artistic or technical reasons. Changes do not entitle the subscriber to return the subscription. It is also not possible to change to another concert.

Exchange of the date
Subscribers of series A, B, C, D and S, who cannot attend a concert, have the possibility to exchange their place within the same program (Thu/Fri/Sat) and the same price category. The possibility of exchange is based on the remaining available seats and is limited to a maximum of two times per season in Subscription A or once in Subscriptions B, C, D and S.

In order to make the exchange, the subscription ticket must be received at the subscription office no later than five working days before the concert. In order to ensure quick processing, we ask that you notify the subscription office in advance by telephone of your exchange request.

Correspondence and address changes
Subscribers receive up-to-date information about concerts and events by mail or e-mail. To ensure that we can continue to do so in the future, we ask that you notify us in writing of any changes of address. In all correspondence, please include your customer number and subscription series.

Image and sound recordings
The concerts of Bayerischer Rundfunk are regularly broadcast on television, radio, the Internet (live stream / on demand) or recorded for CD or DVD productions. Therefore, there may be slight disruptions due to square closures, cameras, microphones or additional lighting. Of course, we always try to keep these restrictions as low as possible and thank you very much for your understanding. By participating in the event, you agree that recordings and images of you and/or your minor children may be broadcast, disseminated, in particular used in the media (including television, Internet and print products) and also made publicly accessible and perceptible on individual demand and regardless of the type of receiving device, without any claim to remuneration. Included are possible paid uses of the production in all types, forms and media. Due to recordings and / or live broadcasts, in case of delay, admission is only possible during the intermission. For concerts with only one work, late admission is completely excluded.
