Stefano Farulli
Stefano Farulli, born in Fiesole, Italy, began his musical studies at the “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole” with Alina Company and at the “Accademia Internazionale Incontri col Maestro di Imola” with Oleksandr Semchuk.
Continuing his violin studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin under the guidance of Prof. Nora Chastain and Marlene Ito, Stefano also received coaching from Noah Bendix-Balgley. His development as a musician was greatly influenced by acclaimed artists such as Salvatore Accardo, Pierre Amoyal, Boris Belkin, Kolja Blacher, Leonidas Kavakos, Mihaela Martin, Ingolf Turban, Tabea Zimmermann, and the Casals Quartett.
Stefano was admitted to the “Academy of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra” in Amsterdam in 2019 and to the “Academy of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra” from 2021 to 2023, where he developed his passion for playing and performing as an orchestral musician. Stefano Farulli has also served as guest concertmaster for the second violins with the “Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra” and the “Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra”. Whilst still at the Academy in 2023, he joined the First Violin section of the BRSO.
