Thomas Adès′ work “Aquifer” is commissioned by the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks for the inaugural season of Chief Conductor Sir Simon Rattle with support from Carnegie Hall and the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien.
